hMatrixAcellular Dermis
hMatrix® Acellular Dermis is an acelluar dermal scaffold processed from donated human skin. The skin is processed in a way that removes the epidermal layer from the dermis and removes the epidermal and dermal cells from the collagen and elastin that makes up the dermal matrix. Finally, the acellular dermal matrix is packaged and sterilized using low-dose gamma irradiation. The product is stored and supplied frozen.
hMatrix® is indicated for use to replace damaged or inadequate integumental tissue. It is indicated for homologous use only. Specific uses of hMatrix® include use as a wound covering, abdominal wall repair, breast reconstruction, and for use in supplemental support, reinforcement, or covering of tendons or periosteum.
