Our Biologics Division, has revolutionized the handling characteristics of allograft bone while maintaining many of the benefits that are native functions of autograft bone. Our OsteoSponge® product line has a highly osteoconductive matrix that is essential for neovascularization and bone formation, while exhibiting osteoinductive properties by exposing native BMP’s and growth factors. In addition to OsteoSponge®, Bacterin Biologics had an allograft portfolio designed specifically to meet the needs of the Spine, Cranio-maxillofacial, reconstructive, and trauma markets. The Coatings Division is focused on developing coating technologies for products that have a known risk of infection. Our aim is to help institutions reduce their risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) as well as improve medical procedures available to our soldiers while in less sterile medical environments.
